alla 'czar colt

thanks MissCriss - I plan on keeping him intact as I think Popeye K and Alla 'Czar are an amazing combination. I wasn't planning on breeding but when I read about Alla 'Czar being the "Stallion of the Century" I had to do it - with both my Popeye K mares! I have another foal due soon! The breedings cost me over $15 K after my equine repro vet did his miraclework, so I need to sell one to recoup my costs. The foals will be great in hunter and dressage, and hopefully they'll inheret fabulous temperaments too.

I highly doubt you'll have ANY problem selling one of those foals. It will find a hunter home in no time So so so jealous...Please post pictures of your other foal when it is born!

No doubt in my mind you will be able to find a home to snatch him up in a heartbeat. What a stellar foal you have to show on the line! I would just call the show office and demand my blue ribbon because it will be no contest.

glad you like him - sure wish he had a name! I hope he goes to a wonderful show home where he can strut his stuff....I live on an island and would have to travel far to get to a line class.

Some of his babies have come into training and they all have been lovely movers. Some with better temperaments than others of course lol. All were very big with socks and a big white blaze. A majority of them are chestnuts with beautiful manes and forelocks.

In the Czone and Czartistic are the ones that came in. The stallion that came in last week has a barn name of Toby, but I don't know if he's on the website or what his show name is. I think at one point we also had Aladdin in.

How is it that Alla Czar is not very big, but his babies are HUGE.
And, how is it that most of his babies are chestnuts???

He is a bay stallion, about 16.2 or 16.3, with a big blaze and socks I think. Out of the youngsters that came in for training, none of them had dams that were very large. Under 17h if I can remember. But the offspring themselves were pretty much going to be in the 17h range or bigger.
It's interesting that his offspring are so tall....Camille who owns him really liked my Popeye K mares - very refined, 15.2 and 15.3, as the combo might not create such large offspring - but I must say my first foal by him is very big boned - we had to help him get his shoulders out, and what long legs! I"m pretty sure he'll top 17 hands. He's showing amazing athleticism for his age. Next one is due in a week or so.

Alla'Czar's sire Zeus was 16.3, so the height didn't necessarily come from him either.

That is extremely interesting. I don't know much about his sire, but I thought he would have been big! 16.3 is big, but not ginormous lol. The two mares we had were topping 17h, which I found to be odd since I've mostly seen geldings and stallions that were tall rather than mares. I would be delighted to see photos of your babies to these refined mares when they are older. If his foals were around 16 hands or even shorter, I would be absolutely thrilled to be able to buy one. The size is the ONLY problem since I'm 5'1. Oh, and the price of course lol .

Alla'Czar is just amazing. I showed against some of his babies and they were just so elegant and striking. I've been a fan of his for quite a few years now. Being 5'10, I am really quite happy that his offspring are generally a larger bunch. Sorry MissCriss!

lol! Oh, it's no problem .
Maybe if he were bred to a little pony it could work out haha. I would absolutely love to see him bred to a Connemara. I'm a huge fan of the Arab/WB crosses and Connemara/WB crosses. They have lots of good, elegant qualities from the WB side and are hardy, small, and have good minds from the Arab and Connie side.
