| Senior Member+ | I wish you had been clearer in your original post on the first thread. When reading essentially that you popped in on a farm and jumped on a yearling it left alot to the imagination, and my own responses were less than kind, for which I apologize. I have been watching this with some interest, I will watch your videos when I have accesss (I have dial up at home). You have responded to questions and some rough treatment with humor and information about your method, which deserves commendation, no matter what I decide about this 'tap' after I look into it further.

| Senior Member+ | You know, after reading through his site and through the posts on here, I'm starting to get the idea of trying it on Scoot. He can be cinchy sometimes (nothing to do with pain, at the trainer the trainer jerked the cinch up on him and spooked him) so I might have someone take pictures as I saddle him up using this method. I have to think over it first, not to sure if I'm for or against it yet. |

| Senior Member+ | Wait a minute...it says to use a tom thumb but where it shows the picture of the bit to use...ITS NOT A TOM THUMB! I'm confused? I refuse to put a tom thumb in my horses mouth anyways, why wouldn't any bit work? |

| Senior Member+ | I hear you Freedom and Lucky.. All I wanted to do when I read the beggining of this, was bang the cowbell .There is a lot to think about here, I have to remind myself at times, That this is just a big beige, emotionless paper weight.. That I can not hear inflection, or see the sparkle of humor in an eye.. Gotta hand it to the man. We all sorta gave him a hard time.. I am just as guilty.. But after watching the video,, ESPECIALY the " YOU GO WE GO" I have a deeper understanding of his technique.. It is something I would hope I did'nt have to use.. and feel BLESSED that I do not. But, I can imagine there are situations out there where this could be very usefull.. If you watch the afore mentioned video clip. If you get nothing else out of it, You will have to admire this guys moxy.. OH MAH GAWD, watch it just to see the pants.. I love a good giggle while I am learning something, and eating a 'lil crow. | Senior Member+ | I did watch the video. I immediately thought of one of my hubbys many tales (don't ask me why, I have random thoughts now and then) from his youth. Seems that he found a neat trick to put the chickens to "sleep." He would tuck their head under their wing and while holding them in his hands he said he made a circle with them (get them dizzy? I don't know) anyway.... he did the whole flock. Grandma was not happy. They all died. And hubby never even got a whooin for it.
