I do not support this bill, as SH's have their place. Where does it say to ban traveling?

this is what BW posted:

"To Prevent the slaughter of horses in and from the United States for Human Consumption by prohibiting the slaughter of horses for human consumption and by prohibiting the trade and transport of horsefleash and live horses intended for human consumption and for OTHER PURPOSES.

I would say that I have to go with BW. I mean it is better for a horse to have a very fast death than to suffer a horrible painful death.

Sorry, I have already contacted my States Congressmen & Representative in Washington numerous times providing them with information and reasons for them NOT to support this Bill.

Im not supporting it either. Especially if you cant transport horses. Heres a dumb question....if you buy a horse and this bill passes...how the heck do you get the horse to your house???? Thats just plain stupid....

I dont see where it says that "any" transportation is going to be banned with this bill? In other words, there would be no more horse shows, olympics and on on? That just dosent make sense. They was I took it was not allowing "inhumane" transporting for use for slaughter.

That is the intended use...but in the first paragraph it throws in , and for other purposes.....

THAT is where things are going to get messy with PETA and other organizations. As written, it is threatened.....
