adorable pics to share! please take a look!

http://community.webshots.com/user/sher327

Ok everyone, thought it might help if I included some pics of the farm. Included are some pics of the newest little baby Ellis along with all the other retty horses at our friends farm where we are boarding.

In one of the pics you will see my horse Shah is completely calm because he is still on the farm and then I included one of him going down the big "scary" lane that is causing so muc grief LOL

Enjoy the pics everyone, especially of the baby! In case you remember the other pics of my Shah, yes he is finally slimming down thankfully but it has been a slow process.

Thanks for looking!

Sher,

What a beautiful place you have. That baby Elvis is a gem. Perfect socks in the back. The bay paint=beauty! Very nice, are you moving?

thanks everyone! Yes the farm is beautiful but unfortunately it isn't mine. It is a couple who we are very good friends with and we board there. Destiny the older gelding was rescued by her 10 years ago and is an incredible endurance horse!

Shane was rescued at age 2, hes now 5, he was horribly neglected before she got him. Eli and her daughter Hannah are her grown daughters horses along with Paycyn. Little baby Ellis belongs to his daddies owners but is too little to go anywhere yet. The only horse I have there now is Shah, the dark bay one. We are in the process of buying a farm right now and will hopefully have him home by mid summer but we are so lucky to have such a beautiful place to board! iF I could only get him to stop freakin' out going down the lane it would be heaven LOL We are seriously considering going back for the 17 y/o arab posse horse I posted about because he is still living in crappy conditions and he is such a good boy.

Glad you liked the pics, I'll tell Karen she got some nice compliments on her farm adn her babies!

you're welcome This farm is approx. 9 acres, mostly pasture that is literally shaped like a giant horseshoe all the way around their home, its so cool looking!

The farm we are buying is only a bit over 4 acres, most of it will be horse area and there is an additional 20 acres behind us we were told may be up for sale soon, fingers crossed big time! But for now I'm sure 4 acres is sufficient for 2 horses so I'm grateful for that. Boarding with trusted friends is great but I want my baby home

I know that feeling. I just boarded my horse, but part of me wishes I could still keep him at home just to keep a constant eye on him. Man, I was a nervous wreck the day the man came to take Gage to the stable. But all is well. He is in better living conditions at the stables, so I'll just have to spend a lot of time there!

Congratulations on the new homestead you are buying! It sounds great!
Good luck on changing the scary lane into the happy, calm lane!
Aren't animals so funny about things!

My friend's horse is extremely scared of large rocks, how crazy is that?
