I have no respect for anyone who does not respect other people or the laws set forth to protect people and their interests. quote] Laws are imperfect, as they are created by imperfect people. You're right they are imperfect. BUT if you don't like the laws, change them, don't break them. Yes, some of the people listed above helped change the law by breaking the law, BUT that was then, this is now. Now there is a process in place to change the laws without the need to break them. I find it hard to believe that anyone could blatantly break a law, admit to doing so, and then say they are still going to do so, and still expect themselves to be credible or respectible. She's putting herself off as an educator and someone who's doing 'Public Service Announcements' with this blog. Think of the example she's setting for the younger kids that may read it? How is giving yourself permission to break the law setting a good example? I understand where you're coming from, but to me it's a matter of respect, either you respect authority or you do not. Laws are made for a reason, you don't have to like them, you just have to obey them. If you don't like them there is a process put in place to change them. I don't break the law. I try to set a good example for the next generation, about respecting others, authority, people, places, and things. Heck, I don't even speed. I open doors for women - even being one myself. I say please and thank you and Ma'am and Sir. There are better ways of doing things besides breaking a law, even a little tiny one like copyright infringements.

| Senior Member+ | Thank you. It's just how I do my best to live my life. I think the colt is a good one myself. I've done much 'worse' than put a chair on my horses, not much phases most of them anymore. I was on a horse that flipped out over a chair sitting along side a trail once. The person in the chair got up and ran off when the horse started flipping out. IF she hadn't of done that, she would have been seriously hurt. The horse was bucking and kicking and ended up ON TOP of the chair, a plastic one very similiar to that one, the chair ended up in peices and the horse was not hurt at all. Horses will freak out over the tiniest little things. Anything in my house is used to desensitize a horse, simply because you never know.

| Senior Member+ | I am actually amazed by that!! My horses won't let me go at them with a plastic chair (pulling it behind me...they run) haha. That shows a very calm, mature, sweet, laid back, "whatever" type of horse!! That is the type of horse I want to put my parents on...my grandparents, children, ppl that have never ridden before, heck even my dog!! The people on the site are just agreeing with that one persons opinion and not even thinking before they typing a response. As long as you agree with what you do with your horses (and the horses aren't being abused which yours are not) thats all that matters!!
