I'm thinking if it is posted to the public, and you don't have some type of "legal" mumbo jumbo like a copywrite or something, then it is fair game. I know this came up somewhere else and a couple of attorney spoke to it. Kind of a free for all over the WWW.

( I meant the picture is cute/funny, not the fact that someone took your pic)

Well. lets see... all images on our site are copyrighted, and using an image you do not have express rights to CAN constitute copyright infringement. However, as I said, there's idiots and there's scum below them. Honestly. I could care less about it. They're the same dumb ***** that are Pro-Peta. What ever floats their boats. Show up on my door and whine for all I care.

What she's doing is using the 'free domain for education' part of the copyright laws in order to steal pics off of sites (some I know for a fact have copyright notices on them). Saying that she's educating the public so she can steal any photo she wants from anywhere and use it.

She has clearly stated in her Fugly blog that she could care less if she's breaking the law because it would cost someone way too much money and time to sue her for copyright infringement. So, she'll keep doing it.

She did state that if the owners of the photos asked to take them down, she would. Or if someone could prove one of the pics as being clearly different than she states (because of a bad pic etc) that she would take it down as well. BOTH have happened and the pics are still up. That's a red flag for me.

While she does have good points on the blog, she's not near as knowledgable as she makes herself out to be. I can not support nor find anyone who breaks the law credible, no matter what guise they put on it. I have no respect for anyone who does not respect other people or the laws set forth to protect people and their interests.

I'm all for educating people on breeding, what to breed, how to etc. and on what happens to the 'culls', but she is doing it in a way that is NOT good. It could be done in a much better way.

No, and actually that's Peyton. Beaker wouldn't let a chair near him like that! My personal favorite comment is the one about the hole in his flank. Amazing. Must be someone that thinks bucking straps have thorns in them to make the bulls and bronc's buck.

Yes, at least she is not saying anything bad about him. But still it evokes people to comment on how she shouldn't have a lawn chair on him. I dont know about the copyright issues I just know when I saw the pictures I thought it was wrong.
