Here's an update from today. No charges filed yet and the vet bills are the sole responsibility of the rescue because police have not filed charges against this "woman" so she also gets out of having to pay for any care these two have received. Just disgusting

The date at the top is July 2nd under "search stories, videos and more" but then it does say "posted April 28th." As of today though, she still hasn't been charged with cruely and there's no news of a court date.

Hehe it's okay, I get it. Easy mistake to make. Probably won't be anything new until August when the case goes back into court. By which time everyone will have forgotten and they can do whatever they want. The story I linked to said that court has been adjourned until August 5th.

I just can't believe there is a chance this "person" will get away with this. The rescue has paid out megabucks for those horses' care, esp. the mare, and the thought that the owner may get them back without having to pay back a single dime makes my stomach churn and my blood boil
I have a feeling that if she isn't charged and does get them back, there will be some folks out there who will not stop until those horses are taken into safety and placed into good homes.
