UPDATE, June 25th: The case went to court and Lee was granted an extension. The case HAS been turned over to the felony unit for review. No word yet on if they will try the case as a felony. Let's hope so.

She probably requested the extension cuz her horses are still sick. She wants them all better when she gets them back.

I hope they can make felony charges stick on this woman. Perhaps being a felon will rock her world a bit. I wonder if she even realizes how she has been villified across an entire horse loving nation.

Are you sure she would even care, Beeks? Anyone that would allow this to happen can't possiably have any emotional attachment to anything.

I'm sure she has the emotional capacity of a teaspoon, but perhaps if it hits her in her pocket because people do not want to hire felons, the far reaching scope of what she should have done will hit home. I am not sure what a physicist does, but being a felon surely could not help her reputation in her professional community.

They're the folks that figured out rocket fuel and that sort of thing, you know, nucler energy and the A-Bomb. Seems most are 'book smart' and 'common sence' denied. You could be right about the damage to her career. There never seems to be much follow up on any of these stories. Sensational headlines and never end results.
