I am speechless at the thought this woman may get these animals back !!!!!
In Ireland & UK the Welfare Authorities & Legal system have the power to confiscate & re-home animals so grossly abused, & they do without hesitation, plus the abuser often gets A Lifelong Ban on keeping animals in the future.
If I could take those horses home myself I would & try to make up for their suffering, may God be good to them & keep them out of this woman's hands forever more.

It made me sick to see that.
But you know what the saddest thing is, that after 4 years of volunteering at an animal refuge, ive seen way way way worse...

So sad..

I hope she gets whats coming to her for sure.

I've seen cases like this before, and I'm almost positive she will be charged and for sure will not get the animals back. Like its disgusting that the lady would even want them back in the first place, sorry but if you cant spend 10 dollars to buy a halter that actually fits your horse theres no way you should even get to have horses again.

I know what episode you're talking about - didn't the guy get to keep the colt? I was kinda ****** about it. At least the follow-up showed that he was in good condition.

This is wrong on so many levels I hardly know where to begin, but how about the fact that animal control and the sheriffs department had been called out to her place on several other occassions and did nothing, nothing that is until the poor horse managed to escape and was "endangering the public". The halter wound is horrendous, but her neglect over all is absolutely appalling. To give this animal back to this woman would be an abomination.

That's what I have trouble wrapping my mind around. I just can't understand nothing at all being done before the horse escaped

Unfortunately, I can. I tried all through the winter to get a horse seized for neglect. Animal Control and the Sheriffs department did nothing until the horse, desperate for food and water, broke out three times in one day (sheriffs dept called each time) before any action was taken. Apparently the endangerment of the animal means little, but God forbid, their desperate search for food cause a human to become endangered. But I guess, Thank God for it too. Otherwise two good horses would most likely be dead.

Yes, I remember the **** you had to go through to get that poor mare out of her situation. What a horrible, cruel shame Thank God you finally got that beautiful girl into your care.
