Abuse Art *Updated*

Tonight I felt compelled to be artistic, and so these images were born using Poser 6 and photoshop..

The part Quarter Horse, part Brumby stallion worked hard for his owner for the first 7 years of his life.
A heavy built, hard working man of 70 owned him. Mustered cattle on him, had him pull a sulky, fed him well and kept him fit. He called the horse nothing but 'Red,' in good, Australian, backwards fashion.
Then, the mans life came to an end. Instead of the man comming to ride him, a truck came to pick him up at 7 on a Thursday morning...

A younger man bought 'Red' after his old owner died of heart failure. The stallion found that after a branding iron, a pair of scissors, and an ill fitting saddle with no blanket, humans could be cruel.
He stood for hours in the hot, Australian sun, out of loyality for the man who would only water him to keep him alive.
He had a mouldy round bale of cow lucerne in his dirt paddock. He felt alone, used everyday and hurt...

Ive been all pinched up since saturday
Ive run my self dry of excellence
16 long years in-hale the ******** in
Whatever I said on saturday
Whatever I did Ill do it all again
19 marks up walls
Each year one short fall of

Tiny voices, make things harder
Everybody will be let down
Everybody will be let down

What is this for ex-parking lot
The dreamers go buy they never stop
20 plus 5 in let the youth cave in

Tiny voices, make things harder
Everybody will be let down
Everybody will be let down

Tiny voices make things harder
Tiny voices make things harder
Everybody will be let down

--

'Red' broke down in the storm.
His eyes tld the story of 6 long years as an abused cow horse in the hands of an ignorant man.
He stood in the rain. No rug, saddle rash and miserable. He didn't know his lungs were collapsing. He didn't know his windpipe was closing. He wanted to die. To cross over to how he used to be. Fit, healthy, spirited..

The stalion didn't struggle.
He didn't fight it
His heart gave way as the blood slowly pumped through his body.
The last of it passed through his veins and he died.
He died looking into his own eyes from the pool of water reflecting the hope that death brings to the maimed, or poor.

Because I could not stop for Death,
He kindly stopped for me.

And Immortality

I think that was a very sad tale. I also think the pictures are beautiful and amazing!
I actually owned a QH mare that had a terrible life after her old owner auctioned her off. She nearly died from a terrible infection after one of her owners rode her for hours without a saddle pad and her shoulder and withers to the bone. The dumb lady who owned her never enev noticed there was a problem and Dolly never complained. The owner of the stable where she was being boarded at called the vet out and got her fixed up. The infection was very bad though and it left her scared. I got her about a year after that. I had to sell her because she beat up my husband's old mare Bein, but I sold her to a 78 y/o lady who loves her dearly. I still hear form her and Dolly is doing great.

The only thing not clear in the story is " a pair of scissors" It's not clear if he was stabbed with them for the fun of it or what...

Very nice pictures.

If that's the case then I would suggest taking it out because that would not be abuse and would take away from the story.... just a suggestion

I used Poser 6 to 'render' the 3d images =)
It creates 3d art etc.
Thanks guys, I'm working on the fourth picture right now.

Yes, a pair of scissors was because his tail was hogged =)

Very nicely done Gutter doll.

I have never seen that technique before.

Oh my, those stories get to me, cause the likes of all that happening is way to much.

I have set up a plan for my horses if I die, so that they go somewhere to whom I trust and will take care of them, instead of going off to who knows what.
