UPDATE - Sorry it took so long, but i have actually spoke with a manager at canadian tire. The animals are leased along with farm land. They run the petting zoo during the summer months and the animals are wintered at the farm land that is leased. While he was unsure of the exact timing, he made it clear that the animals were taken back to the farm a couple times a week and let out and just had time to be themselves. He was more then willing to let me speak with someone else incharge of the animals, but i felt he 100% honest (therefore, i had no need to speak with anyone else) and it was clear to me that he did infact know the animals were getting proper care.

Thank god.
Now I can sleep at night
