A trakehner stallion for my arabian mare

I bred my arabian mare to a trakehner stallion, in hopes of double registering. He is only 4 so he hasnt quite grown all to way into himself yet. What do you think? http://www.rollingstonesporthorse.com/memphis.html

Video

I think it's funny how the woman in the video is flailing her arms at the horse to try to make him move.

This is very impressive:

The German Verband inspected him at the National Trakehner Convention where he was Reserve Champion over all colts and geldings, even an approved stallion. His marks were : walk - 9.5 ( highest given) trot -8 ,conformation-8 , canter-9

My trainer has worked with two arab/trak. crosses lately and wow, they are special. I really like the cross between the breeds..both horses in this case had a thicker body build than the arab, but kept the longer, thinner neck. Both were very sporty and just gorgeous movers.

I hope you go for it! LOL

now she is only 15.1h do you think that the baby would be to big, since the stallion is about 16.3-17h? someone mentioned that to me the other day and has had me worrisome ever since. This is her first foal so it makes me extra nervous! what do you think?

he is pretty! I'd like to have him for a hunter..... WOW! HE IS BIG! He's 17 hands already and not 4 yet/ that's huge for a Trak isn't it? Arab/Trakehner is a great cross, I like that cross alot actually. But I'd be a little concerned about breeding a small arab to that large of a stallion for her first foal, maybe Kathy can share her knowledge here on that for you. Did you already pay for the breeding?
