    A Stallion at work.....

Just a few pics of Beau with Kasey.
Some may think that the stallion is the aggressive one, but, if the mare is not ready your stallion can sure get beat up. So one has to make sure that the mare is in agreement.

These 2 got along very well yesterday evening.

    Whispering to her.

    Talking things over.

Telling her how beautiful she is.

He is still a teenager as far as learned years go, but he does very well
with the mares for his age. Quite the gentleman and very respectable of the mares.

Beau is a very good looking stud! It's it wonderful how they just pop when they're showing off for the ladies. And you can tell Kasey thinks he's pretty fine herself. It's nice to see someone using live cover without all the lights and meds. Understand why and when they're used, but nothing like live cover to make a boy enjoy his job And easy when they have good manners. I stand by what I said before, I would breed to this guy in a heartbeat if you lived closer. He is a lovely example of a quality Foundation QH. And with color, too. Thanks for sharing what few see Peg.

Thanks Cindy, coming from you, always appreciated. Wanted to show Kasey in a better light.

Kasey is the lighter one... the second one. Kind of a smokey Buckskin the one in the forefront is her full sister a darker buckskin.

Bred again tonight, no pictures, no time. Its a work day.
She was not as receptive as she was the first time, he did get kicked pretty hard in the side and he was mounting way out in left field.

So I took her with a lead rope, led her around til I saw him lift his front quarter..... and I spun her, she never got the chance to kick.
    She recieved well.
    No free play this time.
She is going out of heat, caught her just in time.
I will try tomorrow one more time, but I won't leave her off the lead rope this time.
Beau could get killed if I do.
