A Real Gold Mine?

I saw an ad for this stud and totally fell in love. He looks a TON like my mare, which is a plus. Im looking to breed her in '07, and this guy is really her type... lol. What do you think of him? I noticed that hes built downhill and my mare is downhill but in QH its pretty common and I, personally, dont consider it THAT big a deal... anyways, what do you think of him, and how good a couple do you think they would be? I want an all around type baby... halter, reining, hunt seat, maybe western pleasure, barrel racing... NOT into those "specialty" horses... at alllllll.

meet him ->

meet her ->

these are a couple of his '05 colts... yummy!

Nice foals! I agree he is gorgeous, a little thick in the throatlatch though.

yup I noticed that too... but of all the horses Iv looked at thats just a minor oops... Dollie's throat is very nice IMO, and its seems to be a pretty strong trait in her family so thats good.

Dolls throat ->

and...

exscuse me... it was my first time riding hunt seat in 5 years... and the pants really made it look wierd...

He is beautiful! Pretty babies too. Deffidenty think in the throatlatch, but his babies don't look too bad there..

Honestly, I find it hard to judge the stud. The picture they have on the site is VERY small and looks airbrushed and touched up. It does not really lend itself to accurately seeing his conformation.

Still, his foals are nice looking! And your mares seems to be well-built and very nice as well. I have to ask since I know very little about Quarter Horses, what is WSCA?

I'd love to see more pics of both to get more of a judgement.

But both very pretty!

I have met anne and her Stallion Gold Mine, She is a wonderful lady to talk and visit with. The Stallion Is a Doll, He's a big baby. He was only 3 when I seen him last but I was very Impressed with him. He has an Excellent Conformation and beautiful coloring to boot. He has dapples and a copper sheen even when he's sporting his winter fluff. I would Email anne she's a lovely lady to visit with.

I like him!! he looks as if he is standing a bit downhill though... looks like he has been photoshopped into that backround...
I think they would make a nice foal together!
