a halter bridle!

i was riding gracie in a halter and lead rope for reins! it was so fun, we even cantered! she is neck reined aparently. When i would let go of the "reins" and kick, leaving her at my mercie (i was practicing balence) she would canter into fence, and turn at the last second. it's like "i'm gonna run you into this fence....NOT!" LOL it was so fun.

does anybody else do this?

Sometimes.. but my friend horse wouldn't budge.. you had to do everything to make her move.. and she would actuall run into them.. or stop 1 foot infront of it..

Gracie thinks she can run forever, NOT. LOL, i might check the pasture for rocks one day and, well, canter for a long stretch, BAREBACK LOL

Thats mostly how I ride, is halter-leadrope bareback, its fun!!

it is! i'm going to work more in the round pen today, and then, on saterday, i think we might work in the arena, once we've got trotting along the fence, we gonna canter WOOT! LOL
