Isiah cheated on me... Joe went to school with the young man who owns the mare.

My family has nothing to do with this buy, and the mare will not be resold, assuming we were to buy her she would be moving to Colorado with me next year... along with Cool and possibly 1 other horse... depending if I choose to take him with me, as I am in the process of selling him.. if he doesn't sell by August he'll be going to Colorado with me also, although I have NO IDEA what I'll do with him out there... he'd be the only TWH on the Ranch, but since he does have Ranch horse training I could use him I suppose...

I will keep the first foal for myself, so that's why the tuff decision... She is in foal as of right now to the same stud in which she threw a darling paint filly and I may sell that foal....

I'm thinking of possibly breeding her to Romeo the first time if I go with APHA on the first shot, because she'd be bred in the spring (possibly, unless I decide to show her) and he's not too far from me...

Belle4: which do you think is better, Romeo or Zippin?

Steph

If I had to pick a stud on the pictures ALONE, I would pick Zippen because that is the type of horse that I prefer with the pleasure thing and all. There is no conformation shot of Romeo, so hard to tell. I would want to see conformation shots, pedigree, show results and proven off spring of each sire. It is nearly impossibe to choose a stallion without all of the facts above.

I know... I'm asking based on looks... I will research heavily into each stallion before I EVER make my final decision, and I will go to visit them if at all possible and if I cannot visit the stallion I will request a video for certain...

Well, we looked at the mare, we fell in love with her, so now we're in the process of getting the money together to buy her.

When we do, we may or may not have her bred to Zippin... depends if I find something I like better.. I may end up needing to breed her to Peppy (QH) if Coolie doesn't take in the spring. Sweetie, has been bred to a QH before and naturally threw a solid stud colt, however he was a very good looking stallion, if I have no other choice I will breed her to Peppy, as they would be conformationally compatible, I just wouldn't get a colored foal.
