Smile A day at the beach!

Isn't it fun to sometimes just relax and not worry about form? me on drew(white horse) Other riders are friends and my trainer

We went to the beach and Drew (aka..Superfreak) was awesome. I know I have aweful form in a western saddle. (it was so wierd sitting in one...lol) How does everybody else just let loose with their animals? If you have pics please include.

Great pics!

I agree, you and your horse need to let loose every now and then, otherwise training becomes boring and stressful!

Unfortunately I don't live near a beach, but we do live on a farm, so we have lots of fun trails to go on, dams to walk through, straight, flat areas to gallop etc.

1-2 times a week, I take my horses (that are in full work) on a trail ride...walking on a loose rein, trotting, cantering and galloping...they LOVE it, and so do I! Its nice to relax and not have to think about a million things at once like you have to when you train.

I love to hear about people that have nice time out rides with their horses...I feel sorry for horses that don't have that luxury and spend no time out of the arena.

Where I board my horses we have no room to run. It's a small place but it works. athere is a field across the street we can use but I won't ride nu myself for safety issues and nobody is usually able to ride when I do. So I jump on days like these!

Looks wonderful! We like to go a lot of different places. Old Forest Service Roads in the mountain forests is one of my favorite places. I haven't taken Tucker there yet though. Roads along canals by farmland too! We used to go on BLM land but there have been so many Gofer/Whistle Pig Holes. Those make me nervous!
