7/27/2007 Blister update **added video for questions

This weekend is going to be big.

Why? cause I started a new supplement.

So I'm watching him closely, as the vet currently caring for him is out of town.

However, he has left specific instructions with the vet that is handling his clinic while he is gone, that under NO circumstances, is she to add, subtract, multiply, or divide anything without talking to him or the other vet that has been following his case and is his normal vet.

My vet is aware, and has left his cell number with that vet.

The new vet, my vet, and the current vet are all aware, I started a supplement tonight. Vet cleared it as there are no real "immune boosters" beyond nutrition that he could see.....joint supplementation, some natural anti-inflammatories he mentioned....but he said he'll talk to me more next week....but said to go for it.

As of this week, his antibiotics have been stopped!!!!!!!!!!!

Pred has gone from 3g to 2g

still on bute as needed.

But that's it.

and I went ahead and got the Laminaid by Super

I'm going to give him a bath this weekend.....cause from the fetlocks down, we are going to lose that skin....it is in the process of dying....and possibly to the hock on that back right leg..... but that is nothing.......

got some "stress cracks" that worry me....so I'm going to watch them closely....

AND he's gaining weight!

has no muscle....but rib coverage is occuring

****More to come once I get off the phone..... ****

Ouch...if I didn't know how bad he was before I would cry over those feet. It looks like that one will just crack off if he takes a hard step.

I am glad he is hanging in there Michelle.

Did he ever get a big red apple from aunty Jennie?
