6 Year old Paint Mare

this is sugar, my 6 year old paint mare. i've had her since she was barely 3. the pictures are fairly spread out in terms of how old she is. i just tried to find the best ones for critiqueing. she's white, and ... i know... prone to poop stains but if you could please look past that, it'd be appreciated um... she had some professional training as a western pleasure horse before i got her, but i wanted an all around horse, so all the hunt seat training was by yours truly, hehehe, but you can tell she was bred to be western. anyone riding her in the pictures is me, and you're welcome to critique that too... and i know i have a tendency to lean forward sometimes, haha. the western class that's in that picture is the english western riding pattern... hmmm... i'll throw in some showmanship, which just became my new favorite, lol. we got really good at it just recently sorry i don't have any of her set up square, this is the best i could come up with... wiat, here's a showmanship, where we're ALMOST set up, lol. as you can maybe tell from my posture, i'm tryin to get her left front back in line--little stinker, hehe so... let me have it

I like her coloring and she has a very cute face. She is a bit downhill, not sure if that is desirable in a western horse.

I think she is very pretty, you should be a proud momma. Flashy coloring, nice face.

If I had to give some sort of input, it looks like she needs to bring in that nose and lower head some in western, but you are probably working on that already. (It just looks like when she speeds up the head goes up). Her confirmation looks good to me, If I was judging her I'd probably like to see a little more muscle on her shoulders and chest but she doesn't look underdeveloped (I just think a little more bulk up there would balance out her being a little downhill).

But she is pretty and it looks like you are doing well with her.

thanks everybody!!! she's not very tall, like 15.2 or 15.3 or something. she's just an over all small horse, hahaha. kinda a disgrace to the quarter horse... but i still love her and yes, working on the headset :P she's pretty much got it in english, like she's up in the bridle and everything... but it just pops up at the western lope, haha. especially when we're not right on the rail. ummm... once again, thanks everybody!!!
