Question 4H Temper Tantrums...help?

Doxy does AMAZINGLY while working daily, but come 4H every sunday she flips out.
railwork she speeds up and does terrible transitions.
patterns she will NOT get a grip, she tosses her head, blows through stops, etc.
I dont understand what makes her treat 4H any differently than normal?
I dont get mad or tense up, so shes not feeding off me, Im aware shes not fond of lots of horses, but that doesnt explain it completley does it?
whats causing this and how can I fix it?

Is it a different place? Horses can be perfect little angels when in their own enviornment but trailer them to different surroundings and it's like you have to start all over again. I know many people who show, that begin bringing their show horses to those new enviorments long before they think about asking them to work in those enviornments.

Perhaps you could bring her to 4H and just tie her. Let her get used to the new place she is expected to perform so she is not so sensory overloaded with new sights, smells and sounds, while you are asking her to perform.

Well, then that won't work will it?

You said you are not nervous or tense, but perhaps you are excited and she is feeling that excitement.

Do strange horses come to the 4H get togethers?

I think it's just gonna take her getting used to a different 'tempo" if you will, when it's 4H day.

We did 4H last year exactly the same, some horses are trailered in, but she got to know them from last year, and its 4H, usually Im far from excited with the way she acts :P

When you ride daily do you ride alone or with a few other horses in the ring?
