3 Paint Fillies Rescued From a Kill Pen!

These three beautiful girls arrived at the barn last night. My barn owner is fostering them and she wants me to help work with them  All 3 of them are a little over a year old, and they were pulled from a slaughter kill pen somewhere upstate. None of them have had much human contact and they are super skittish, but they seem sweet natured so I don't think gentling them will be very difficult! Im extremely excited to be working with these girls! They dont have names yet we want to get to know their personalities better before we name them! Let me know what you think!

I love this girl already! I think shes some kind of cross, shes heavier boned then the other 2

They are all adorable! I just love their faces.

I especially like this one:

Good luck on their training/re-homing

The heavier boned one looks like a twin to a horse that was at my boarding barn. I would swear it is her but she is still there! She was a pmu foal so they figured draft cross. I can't let the bf see this or he'll want another horse

Good luck with them! They are all cute.

Yeah Im thinking she might be a draft cross! I really hope so! Cause if shes a bigger horse I might actually be able to do her saddle training in a year or 2 (we're keeping them until they're rideable when they turn 3, so lots of time to get to know them!) cause im a bigger rider and Id break the smaller one lol

They are all beautiful. Now they get another chance at life.

Would like to see pics as they progress!
