Yeah for Peyton and Annie. Ok just got off the phone with Laurie. She bought a red dun Champagne mare who turns out to be NH. She loves her to death and will prob ride her but looks like Gracie ripped about a foot long in her uterus and will be exam'd every month to make sure there's nothing that needs to be repaired surgically. AND... with the number of mares that Laurie and I have combined, she's thinking about doing ETs with Gracie and just riding her.... so the new mare may be a recepient mare for Gracie's little one. At least it's some good news!

I never thought of that, but that is a great idea!! That is as long as the surrogant mom doesn't have a bad attack!

That's terrible news, Julie. I'm so sorry. I hope the mare recovers ok and can get back to herself soon. Breeding horses sure does have it's ups and downs.

Wow, she's a beautiful mare. What a terrible shame.

Do they think they could possibly do ET or something similar with her?

That's what the plans are if all heals well. They won't put her under any undue stress though. And she is broke to ride, so worse case senario, she'll be a great rider. I really hope they can do the ETs with her next year. I'd love to see a little sister to Dallas
