WOW! That is so sad. I hope you guys can find homes for these horses.

My guess is, they were dumped because the lady (previous owner) was part of the slaughter house stuff, and then once PETA closed our slaughter houses, the lady had no way to keep them. This is happening all the time. PETA should of thought of this before they made their dumb move.

Well the sad thing is that PETA was told this would happen and they said oh no it won't... Well this is happening everywhere now.

Maybe PETA will take all the horses since they caused all of this.....do you think they will.....nope I don't think so.

That is sad indeed! But what I find even sadder is, how everyone says "how sad", but then attacks PETA! WHO abandoned those horses is the one needing attacked! PETA didn't abandon them!!!
Everyone needs to get a grip and realize that slaughtering horses has NOT ended! Just the location has changed. Just check out the numbers to date, and see that just as many are being slaughtered now, as they were a year ago here!

Some of you just mess me up with your way of thinking, and how side tracked you get on certain issues.

Did you all blame PETA a year ago, for starving/neglected/abandoned/abused horse then?????

Just because the number of cases may have increased in some areas.....the people doing it are the ones responsible.....NOT those trying to help those animals!

Now don't go flaming me for sticking up for PETA, and saying I support them. I do think they have some good ideas, but for the most part, they do go to the extreme and are whacked out on some of the things they do and stand for.

You all need to go check out the thread about 163 horses being rescued from a kill auction! You MIGHT think differently about what's "really" going on with horses!!

PETA closed the slaughter plants? Uh no actually they didn't. In TX. the courts closed them because they were against the laws already on the books since the 40's. And in Il. the courts also closed them becasuse thats what the majority who elected their officals wanted.

But either way dumping, starving, neglecting animals is against the law. Period.

It's sad how some will blame organizations for the actions of individuals.
