Or are you both talking about number of FOALS?
I think she means for future stallion purposes. The more colts on the ground the more common the bloodlines.

Mo is a very nice example of a welsh pony. That's why we chose him.

good on ya! He is quite nice, not as nice as Call the Cops IMO, but FAR better conformationally than Mardi Gras. (Mardi Gras has about the weakest hind quarters I've seen on a welsh. It baffles me how he can even place at the shows to tell you honestly. And the weakness behind shows when he moves too.)

Mardi Gras certainly has a wonderful front end and really reachesand covers a lot of ground. As somebody else mentioned he is vert weak through his hind end and the videos show it, at times he is barely tracking up. I also see quite a bit of false frame which was my original thought when I saw his swan neck. This horse obviously has a record and is very talented but if your mare is weak through the top line and haunches he probably wouldn't be a good match.

No. Reason is, with a conformation fault this bad, I don't think that a mare with the best hind end in the world would be able to do justice on this. A stallion should be as close to perfect as you can get, and remember the hind end is even MORE important than the front as it is the engine of the horse and the source of the power. If they cannot engage the hindquarters they are useless as performance animals especially for dressage or jumping. I think that you'd be best to go with a stallion that has the whole package, like the grey. (the second one isn't too bad but I like the confo on #1 the best especially for this mare. The second stallion is a bit knee sprung, other than that I cannot find too much other wrong with him, but the grey is pretty hard to fault.)

Thanks for that. It's very helpful. While I think that Mardi Gras is great; I've always loved Cops. I mean he wasn't the #1 sire in the country for nothing.

At this point in the game I pretty much have my heart set on Cops.
