2008 Red Dun AQHA Stud Colt

This horse was offered to me for free by his breeder, the reason he was offered for free because I promised to show him and get his studs name out there. I really like the horse, he is VERY sweet and laid back and reminds me a lot of Romeo.

His registered name is Red Zippin Hancock out of Zippos Falcon by Red Yahooty Hancock he was bred by Gary Schaefer of Pleasant Hill, MO. He is red dun with one sock and a beautiful star stripe snip. Also a beautiful dorsal stripe down his back, and his registration number is 5098264.

If I was to take him he'd be kept at Gary's until I wanted to move him. I'm unsure what I'd want to do at the moment but I know it'd be western based. I'm horrible at picking out conformation flaws, and normally base decisions on the horses personality unless major ones stand out.

This is his pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/red+zippin+hancock

(He's sweaty because I worked him a bit before photographing him)

(He's standing kind of wonky in these pictures)

He's definitely pretty.
Not as pretty as Romeo, but...
He looks like he toes out severely in front. Just keep an eye on it.

I need to get my ferrier out there, he has HORRIBLE feet which is more than likely why he looks like but I'll keep an eye on it

I am really horrible with feet, so hopefully IIIBars or JB will see this too. I don't think he toes out *that* much in the front, I think he's had really poor farrier care and his feet are causing him to have the classic *ouchy* stance horses get.

I like him. He looks a bit, um, short (?) in the shoulder and neck. I don't know much about conformation terms but it's just something that stands out to me. For all I know, i could just be seeing things.

I don't know either. I suck with conformation flaws.

I also see the toeing out as more of a hoof problem than a actual conformation problem. His toes look long and it looks like he doesnt have any heel.

Ok, anything doing with the feet with try and be fixed when I get my farrier out there!

I know that he has needs to see a farrier and I'll try to do it as soon as my farrier has an opening.
