2005 Fashion trends in the show ring...

I'm wondering what's "in" for all of you. For my show clothes, I'm going to be lining the inside of my green jacket with burgundy silk, and also doing the collar and cuffs. On the cuffs I'm going to add a little rhinestone studded horse link. I'm planning on buying these engraved leather sput straps and maybe have my spurs engraved too. Anything for any of you guys? Colors, styles, variations?

As I only compete in the UK I tend to stay very plain - we have dress codes for different disciplines.

Your outfit sounds cool - please post some pics when you have completed it - I'd love to see it

Sounds nice, I like dark green and burgundy together, especially on a Chestnut/Sorrel. Please do post pic's when you have it done!!

This is the outfit I just purchased to show my minimal white sorrel filly in Halter, Showmanship and Yearling Lunge Line.

I got a new stock pin that I just can't wait to wear. It's silver with a beautiful amethyst gem in the middle of it. Very sparkly and flashy I'm getting ear rings to match, too. I'll wear them in sport horse under saddle and probably dressage, too (they're still subtle enough to look elegant and classy).

Sammy I imagine it will be!! I don't really know this will be my first time wearing a light colour?? I usually stick to black or hunter green.

This is what I wore last year for WP on a blue roan gelding (I was riding for friends). For EP I wear a charcoal jacket white shirt and beige breeches.
