20" Duett saddle

I have a 20" seat Duett Companion Foxhunter saddle I need to sell.
It has a 32 cm tree.
I bought it new. And have only used it a few times. It has a small
scratch on the seat from when I was dismounting.

Would like $980 for it.

I just really don't like it, It's a nice saddle but it makes me sit weird and it's to small for me. And It's to small for my new horse. lol
I'm thinking of getting a custom one.

Do you need to go with English, or could a western with more weight baring surface for both you and your horse work? I sure wish I was in a spot where I could afford to take a look at your saddle...dang.

I would love to stick with english, but I'm having a hard time finding a place that will do custom seat sizes. And I really need one by December...

What about a western tree and seat but with the horn and/or with the English fender shape? If something like this might interest you, there is a dealer that sends out forms shaped like the available trees, you can fit your horse's back, then order the seat size and style you like from that form. Just poke around his website, he does customize things at time too. The workmanship is very good, leather is very good, and the prices is VERY good. Alleganey Mountain Trail Saddles His name is John, and I have dealt with him myself and can say he is very honest and will NOT push anything on you. He will answer emails endlessly just to help you even if you don't buy a saddle. Also if you read towards the bottom of this site, it can really help you make some decisions too in relation to weight distribution and saddle choices http://www.okanagansaddlery.com/Saddle%20Fitting%20Page.htm

This guy can build a saddle for YOU AND your horse in English and these are great saddles! A VERY helpful person with alot of knowledge and experience base. English Horse Saddles from Synergist Custom Saddles.*
