Exclamation 1st Show with Tex Tomorrow

ahhh! I'm super excited and super nervous. I always get nervous before a show. This one is the 07 English Winter Silver Buckle Show Series.

Gesh thats long.

They have daily High point awards and we are gonna try and get us one! I think it's very possible but I'm not gonna expect one, cuz you never know what might happen.

Tex has been show quite a bit before, but this is our first one together and my first one ENGLISH! I've got everything I need but...

Whould this work for my hair? I have one already.

Aww exciting! Im sure you will do fine just remember to breathe! ahah

As for the snoode I wouldn't use it. I mean you can if you have to but its alittle old style. It also depends on how big of a show this is your going to. What I do is I have my mom make a tight bun thats at the base of my neck with bobby pins and then I put a hairnet around that with more bobbypins so there wont be any fly aways. If you have thick hair like I do you might want to take the top portion of your hair and put it ontop of your head so the bun will be smaller. But keep in mind not to put too much on top your head or else your helmet or hunt cap wont want to sit right.

Oh I will definetly get pics, hopefully a professional photographer will be there too! Hmm...I will try and find a hair net to use and just do the bun thing. It's not an A rated show or anything. More like a schooling show. But since they give away good stuff (silver buckles at the end of the year) I expect to have good competition.

Ooh good luck! What classes are you entered in?

The best thing to do with you hair is to put it in a ponytail then tuck it under your helmet and put a hairnet over it

Yah I agree. For hunt seat you should have all of your hair tucked up in the hunt cap, rather than in a bun. I just put my hair in a mid-hieght ponytail and flip it all up and put the hunt cap on. I bobby pin and hair spray as I need it, but I don't use a hairnet. If you want to go with a bun, I wouldn't use the snoode thing. Either tuck all the hair up or make a small bun using a thin hairnet that matches your hair color.
