1st show in almost 20 years!

The last time I showed I was just a kid, so it was a lot of fun to give it a try again.

I entered 4 hunter classes and got a 2nd hunter over fences, 4th eq over fences, 7th eq flat and 1st hunter flat. The 4 classes were in a row and my goodness was I exausted by the end! I was much more nervous about that flat then the jumping.

Yay! Just wanted to share my good news

Great job! I would love to see pictures as well. Sounds like you did great for your first show back after a long hiatus

Here's a couple of pics. I was soooo tired by the last flat class and of course Buddy was feeling just great and ready to go for the flat classes (they were after the jumping). I thought if they asked for the sitting trot once more I might just slide off the side of Buddy.

It was so great to get back into riding and showing. I just had my first jumping lessons on Buddy a couple of weeks ago. I'd been taking jumping lessons on other horses for a couple of months. Buddy was such a perfect angel at the show!

Congrats, I remember my first show after over 10 or so years, and it was on a 3 year old that I had broke and trained, and his first show....boy was that a nerve wracker! We did have fun, I am glad you are getting back into it again....I don't think I will show undersaddle again, but am hopeing to do some driving shows when I get my mini broke and ready to show!
