Talking 1st pics I've ever posted of Isis and I doing dressage

Yessssss, I finally got pictures of Isis and I doing dressage! For that matter, the first pictures I've ever posted of me doing dressage ever! Unfortunatly I only have pics of the walk and trot, the batterys went dead before we could get pictures of Isis's oh so left leaded canter! I'm so excited that I'm finally getting that darn lead. The pics are taken at my riding instructor's place since Isis is being borded there for awhile so I can take some lessons on Isis instead of Mr. Burt. Well atleast you guys can see what I've done with her. I have some pictures of us leg yielding (She's a great leg yielder now that I'm a great leg yielder) but they're a little too far away to really tell that she's crossing her legs or anything. Enjoy!

Practicing a more collected walk

A not quite so collected walk

Trot on a circle

Trot on a diagnol

Isis is a Paint although I don't have any papers for her. I'm planning on registering her with the Buckskin registry just so I have something. She's not overly muscled for a stock horse so I'm not sure if she's pure Paint, but her blue eyes deffinetly say she's Paint.

Lol, Lauren I was hoping you'd see these! I know how long you've been waiting. Isis is indeed using a bit (although she actually tends to go better in her Parelli soft rope hackamore, especially in the trot). The bit I use is a loose O-ring snaffle made of sweet iron. Nothing fancy. $8 at the local tack store, but it's a very nice bit for the price and my instructor uses the exact same one for alot of her horses. She needs alot more work at the trot to get some collection but that will come with time. At this point, I'm happy that she's collecting nicely at the walk.
