100+ Starving Arabs Siezed In Northern Alberta

Does anyone have any idea how much these horses will go for? I (of course) get paid Friday but maybe I can scrounge up a temporary loan to get somebody $ for Thursday.

Meat price or a little bit higher. I would say anywhere between $ 300 - $ 1000.

Papers don't come with the horse. Bloodlines can't be proven without papers unless you have the money for DNA typing, but then you still need him to sign off and he won't.

Unfortunately, you have to go through the auction.

See as there are over 100 I am guess some of them HAVE to have some training. Anyone know what ind of training they have? Pictures?

Also, did someone say something about sponsoring one or two? I am a bit far lol but they sound like good horse who deserve a chance plus I know a few horse crazy people who might want to help.

MANY have training. This man was an exceptional trainer. He was very good. I am sure whichever are old enough will have some kind of training.

I wish I could. I don't have the time, knowledge, or money to care and rehabilitate an animal like that.

I have rehabed starved animals and if I had some money a trailor and a place to keep one Iwould probably do it. I say that most of the young horses dont have papers or blood test or anything of that nature. If the guy wasnt feeding them and wasnt caring for them then I say he didnt give a darn about the the paperwork. I have this horrible image in my mind. Bunch of horse killers with wads of cash in thier hands drooling down thier chins doing what killers do. Oh this just kills my heart.

If I can get some donations coming in, I will go and get a couple to save. I have 2 foster farms lined up close to me to where I can keep an eye on them and when they are healthy enough, they'll be ready to adopt. I will get Coggins tests done on them. The most important will be deworming and farrier.

I am going to try and get there tomorrow to see them in person. Just waiting for permission.
