Kampfer - German (Camp fur)
Combatiente - Spanish (Kom bat ti ent hey)
Combattant - French (Kom bat taunt)
Lutador - Portuguese (Loo Ta Door)
Kjemper - Norwegian (Key Yem per)

Just a few I could come up with.

Kriger, Danish (Kri Er),

Kjemper is pronounced Kyem Per and (though I might be mistaken) means Giant. [Smile]

[Hah] Funny, here in Denmark we want our horses to have english names... [Big Grin] But I am also accused of having a weird sense of humor... [Hah]

I tried when he came back from the s.ucker, seemed in a good mood, but didn't work [Frown]

I wondered what I was sitting on, been up and down like h****s draws all night turning the TV over. LOL

So We can get 'scapper' in a foriegn dictionary?LOL
What about 'bruiser' there's another fighting name, mind sounds a lot like BW's Blister LOL [Big Grin]

This is a traditional Irish Name

Clancy - "red-headed fighter."

Someone was after Irish Names for their horses, the person with a horse called Guniness, took that from a great web site.
