My mare MAY be pregnant...we're not suresince we got her in October and some really good horse people said she should've already gone into heat, but she hasn't yet- plus the girth isn' fitting even tho she's on a diet and getting ridden every day unless its raining...Shes getting 'low' too...
I was thinking: Filly: Smilin' Back At You- Smile Colt: Dinosour Act- Dino Not sure tho...so give me those names!!! Mom's name is Kates Fox if it helps any... [ April 26, 2004, 01:56 PM: Message edited by: KatesFox ]

I never really understood this so maybe you can answer this. How come people name their horses really long names? My horse has freckles so we call her Freckles. Then again maybe you should wait because the little guy or girl could have some really cool marking or something and then you'll come up with a good name.

Some people show thier horses, therefore you need a show name. My horses barn name is Volt and his Showname is Hi Volt++ but his regestered name is Hi Voltage. If you are breeding and you want to register the Foal, you need a longer name that could be a show name, then you can come up with shorter names such as Volt.
