Howdy. I am a future horse owner and just wanted to find a really good forum.
I have loved horses all my life. I have always wanted one but was never able to have one. For financial reasons, which I am sure is common. I came close one summer when my Dad tried to bribe me to live with him in Louisiana. He said move here & I will buy you a horse. Little did I know he was fibbing. I did not go.
Now I am an adult with a 10 year old daughter who has genetically been blessed with a passion for horses also. It may be a while before we get one but why not looking into it now. We are going to buy a new home with horse property. I can't wait. I always said I would have my own horse, even if I was 65 years old. I an not though....I am 39.

I moved here to NH from the Central coast of CA, Paso Robles. I lived in Ca most of my life, from Simi Valley to San Jose. I miss it, but not during fire season!! We get rain here in NH.
I have a 1 year old son and am 36. I have 4 horses and my husband is a horseman also.
Where are you from in CA?
