and an 8th grade rider is 14 years old according to my standards [Big Grin]

nikki and icey* - the best ponies ever you tought me so much, i'll never forget you girls!

lol, no, in US, we have freshman, sophomore, junior and senior in High School, as well as in college...hehe, we are odd....oh, and normally, its 13 for 7th, 14 for 8th, 15 for freshman, etc, etc...

Ok so let me get this straight.
U have all different titles for where u are in highs school. Wouldnt it be easier to classify it all as high school???!! [Confused]
Over here we have primary school, high school and if u choose, Uni. Now doesnt that seem simpler???!!! Lol [Smile]
But I spose if u've grown up with that system, it doesnt seem complicated but I can tell u, it sure confuses the h-e-l-l out of me!!!!!! lol
