Hi Y'all...
My name is Sandy. I am 37 y/o and a divorced mom of 2 children. My daughter is 16 and my son just turned 19 in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is now stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC.
To me (and I am sure all of you here) Horses have always been the most beautiful creatures on this earth. It has been a dream of mine all of my life to be able to personally bond with my own horse. Last year on my birthday my boyfriend of 8 years bought me my first horse, Fox. Fox is a 9 y/o 16.4hh overo paint gelding (blk/wh). I have since adopted my neighbors horse, Lucky, a 15 y/o QH gelding.
I was born and raised here in the horse capital of the world and even worked 4 Kentucky Derbys and groomed at Churchill Downs for 2 Summers in my high school years.
I am so psyched about finding this forum and have spent the last 4 hours reading everyone's questions and answers...LOVE IT...JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT...I just can't get enough...! I've already posted some questions of my own.
Look forward to talking to you all and answering some questions even..!
