Hello everyone, my name is Sherry and I'm new here. I am planning on buying my first horse soon if his vet check comes clean but was wondering if I posted a pic or two if I could get an opinion on him.

He is a TWH 6 year old gelding,sorrel about 15 hands. He has a very smooth ride,calm disposition and seems to love people.He has a very animated walk and is very fast. Apparently he was born to a show barn,shown big lick style until age 2ish then bought by a private owner.

The second owner had him outside with no shelter year round and used him alot trail riding and for field trials for 4 months.He stopped doing field trials and basically ignored the horse in the pasture and he got thin. A neighbor and trainer saw him, bought him and a year later he is loving,appears to be healthy and heavier and is the most cooperative horse I've ever seen, no apparent vices, pretty good for a horse who when first rescued wouldn't stand still for mounting and now stands like a statue lol

Would anyone be willing to look at the pics I have either here or in email and give me thoughts on his build etc? I don't care if he is show perfect, I want him as a companion and a trail horse. I do need to know though if there are any things that are obvious I may be missing on him that could be problems.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Post them in the general chat and ask people's opinons. You'll get a lot more answers than on this board [Smile]

I bought my big baby Pook about a year ago. He wasn't trained until he was 5, then he was very ROUGHLY broke for barrel racing. He's my bombproof trail baby 3 years later, and the biggest baby (which I've already said a couple times, lol).
