and figured it was time to introduce myself. I have been riding since I was 5 yrs old. And have owned horses for 20 yrs or so. I began with arabians and half arabians. Have always been "in to" spots! (love'em). When I decided to get into TWH, was surprised and thrilled to find out I can have gait AND spots! Purchased my first TWH mare at the age of 3, a big solid black (not a white hair on her, go figure). It was love at first site. After I rode her there was nothing anyone was ever going to say or do that would keep me from buying her! As it turned out it did not matter, my hubby had bought her before I got off of her! hahaha She is still my favorite girl! After much reading, picking peoples brains, and scouring the country side, we purchased our stallion (he came from Mississippi, I am in Michigan). He is a wonderful boy, black and white and homozygous for the tobiano gene. His pedigree, conformation, head, gait and temperment were just what I ordered! Although I do show, my first and foremost reason for breeding is pleasure riding horses. All of my stallion's get to date have been extremely wonderful to work with, friendly, calm, naturally gaited (from birth), and beautiful. They have truly spoiled me and their owners. Since I am what people call "picky" or "finiky" when it comes to horses, I am frankly honest about my own horses. It is my firm belief that no horse is perfect, and I am very aware of what is both good and bad in all my stock. I am most likely thier worst critic I have no children , so my animals are my "kids". I love riding my horses, talking about horses, grooming and spending time with my horses, talking with "horsey" people, showing my horses, and did I say ...talking about horses!! hahahaha Because I love color, genetics and color of horses is my favorite subject! I also have Brusels Griffon dogs, and just love that breed! I have a full time job, a small horse farm in michigan, a hubby , four dogs , two cats and a mom! (my mother lives with us)
You can see all my "kids" at: http://www.geocities.com/sunset_walkers/
BTW, my name is Charlee (just like Charlie but with two ee's)

Welcome to the forum! All of your "kids" are fabulous. I have always liked the Brussels Griffon though do not have one myself. I always wanted to get one and name it Ewok hehe since the wired version (dunno what they are called for your breed) looks just like one.
