My bf adam asked me today.
"how come girls can say " oh you look so cute " or " omg your soo pretty " or " i really like those clothes " or something like that, but if a guy where to ask that they would be considered gay".
I told him it was a girl thing.. LOL what do you guys think??/

totally a girl thing! It's ok for guys to appreciate the competition but not really for them to express their thoughts - not very macho more than being a "gay" thing to do. We girls however have to compliment each other to make up for the compliments we DONT get from our "ever loving" boyfriends. (and because we dont want to openly show how green-eyed with envy we are by not saying something nice. lol.) I'm told men get better at this when you've had time to train them??? Married people what do you think, are your blokes trained to give you compliments in cue yet?? lol. Lou

Lou....I've been married for two years and I have to pick up some large heavy object and crack my guy over the head with it then say "Insert nice comment about my outfit here.." Ha ha ha! No, seriously, sometimes he pops off with one on his own, but not usually.
