ok, i might have posted about "jane" before, she has an abusive step dad, who started out just beating on her, but moved to more sexual things as she got older. Last week he told her that he should sell her body for money- he was sure plenty of men would pay a lot to be her first, he then said he was joking, and "jane" got extremely upset, but her mom said to ignore him, he was joking.

Thursday, "jane" tried on her skirt for the next day, and when walking down the stairs carrying her 14month baby brother, her step dad reached up her skirt and squeezed her leg, and this was a skirt above her knees.

on friday, when she came to school, she seemed very upset. She told us what he had done, and how she was scared he would rape her or something. She no longer has time for hw or anything, as she is too busy babysitting her four siblings for her step dad and mom, and she always has black circles under her eyes.

she has called/ had others call social services three times, starting in 3rd grade, the last time bing in 7th (we are in ninth) but, when she told my friends and i what he did last, we couldnt take it anymore, so my friend kerrie and i went down to the guidance office, and talked to a councelor (one for 10/11 since "jane" wont talk to a male) and she is calling us back w/ "jane" on monday...im so scared that "jane" will get mad at me, since she told us multiple times that she doesnt want to talk to a councelor, and we did for her...i dont want to lose her as a friend because of this, and i know i did the right thing, but it still really worries me, that what if she lies and wont tell the truth? what if she gets really amd at me and Kerrie? im really worried..

oh, also, during the summer she gets really distant, and wont talk, and isnt allowed on the phone much. a few summers ago she got the urge to kill herself, and even on the weekends things get that bad. sorry that is so long, but i just need the reassurance

I honestly think you did the right thing. Does her mother know about all of this happening?? My mom would go absolutely RANK if anybody talked like that to me or my siblings. She doesn't sound like a very good mother at all....she's putting him above the safety of her children. You did the right thing, I think all those kids should be out of there.

yes i know..her mother doesnt do anything, she sued to, but gave up.."jane" is 15, and then there is a girl who is 12, a little boy who is 10, another who is around 5, and the 14month old..they are all yelled at, and all but the youngest hit...the 10 yr old is spoiled, and "jane" gets in trouble for trying to raise him right, like she ddi the others..
one of the things that worries me most, is that, ashley is bigger then her little sis, and has more of a chance of protecting herself against her step dad, but if he gets it in his mind to do summit to the 12 yd old, shes tiny, looks like shes eight, and shed have no chanccce against him, and it worries me a lot...

I won't tell yu what i'd do to her dad if i got my hands on him! GRRRRRR! [Flaming Mad]

HAs she ever really tried talking to her mum?

THis has to stop before it goes any further.
Is this her natural dad or a stepdad?

PM me if you want to talk.
I can say things then i can't say here.

You ABSOLUTELY did the right thing. [Bow] Now, just to give you a heads up, be prepared for her to be very upset with you and kerri at first. Things are about to (hopefully) change for *jane* and she will not know how to handle it right away. She may blame you, scream at you, ignore you, etc. You will hurt, but you have done the right thing. There will be a time in the future when she thanks you. One more quick question, have you told your parents what is going on as well? Might want to have a chat with them as well. Please let us know how this is handled on Monday hon. Good luck, and once more, you did the right thing. [Cute Kiss]

You did the right thing. Don't be too depressed if she's angry at you..that's natural. Just keep being her friend, as she WILL thankyou..it just may take a while. Good on you, you definately did the right thing [Cute Kiss]

Some athletes don't care what kind of shoes they wear, or how many fans they have. They don't even care that they're on television from coast to coast. They just want to run.

Well I really really think you did a great job becasue you are probly one of the few poeple who would do that so even if your friend gets mad you shouldn''t feel soo bad cause you hepled ( I think you did ) and that all that matters unless she likes it? but who am I kidding she said she was scared and I would be too.

Good luck I really hope sombody takes care of this nasty abuse scandl. [Flaming Mad]
