i scored my first try in a rugby tournament today. Woo Hoo, we came third out of 8 overall, not bad for a 2nd division team playing in a 1st division tournament.
Did a very stupid thing and tackled one of the girls who plays for Scotland though (Katie Davies - she's an AMAZING player, watch out for that one if womens rugby ever comes to your TV screens) - it hurt! a lot!! - but at least it was a good tackle!
Now am off to soak away sore muscles in a hot bath.

never had broken bones from rugby before, but i have got stud rakes all over my legs where people have kicked me and stood on me by accident. Have had my nose popped a couple of times too. Bangs to the head and getting winded are fairly common occurances also. Broken ribs from people tackling/sitting on you are fairly common, but i havent had that before - my ribs appear to be tough cause enough people have landed on me after tackles. lol.
