Well, I know it's 3 months away but come on! With the teachers grinding our noses into the desks about how 'hard' and 'long' it is how can we not worry!?
Here's a problem, I can never meet anyone new. I don't ever approach people or say 'Hi'. Think of me as that really wierd silent kid in the back that is at war with the preps. I would like to make some new friends next year but I'm afraid to say hi or anything, because I think they're going to laugh at me or something ![[Frown]](frown.gif)

Advice: Stay away from freshmen. Some of the new classes are just getting louder and more cocky. If you stay away from me, I'll stay away from you. Deal?

keep a low profile or you'll be targeted for our senior prank.. this year the seniors put live chickens in the lockers... they ended up dying and pissing and ******** all over the students belongings in their lockers

Think of it like going to a big, new show. Walk around (the course), see who's there you know, and don't try pinning anybody strange against the rail; they might be (on) a kicker. Good luck. (It should be fun). (PS- New/high school is a good time to leave the detention/ suspension stunts behind you.)

LOL Nocturno I was like that too, always in trouble. Well my whole class was always in trouble (small town, only 21 in my class), we had to have monthly meetings with our principal/teachers about our behavior. I think in total over High School I got about 5 or 6 suspensions (grades 7-12 is our high school) LOL
You could try talking to the other kids like you, kind of "loners" who are scared to meet others as well. They'd probably be really happy to get a "hello" from ya, and I bet that most are really nice too ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

How lucky..I wish I had the problem of going into highschool again. Instead, I'm leaving highschool forever this June Highschool here is 11/12..we have junior high from 8-10. Grade 11/12 were there best school years of my life...they go by so amazingly fast and before you know it you'll be done forever.
Don't worry about it. I have always been really shy and scared to meet new people as well..but don't stress about it...you'll make tons of friends. Enjoy school while you're still in it...I wish my life could be turned back three years so I could enjoy it all over again...

Oh Zorse, don't think of it that way. You have your whole life ahead of you. Just think about it! You have so many choices, so many roads you can take. Be excited!

I dunno, i never really had a problem. 80% of the people in your class will feel the same way you will. 9th was pretty much just sorting people out... then finally in 10 I established some field of friends that I could stand and I understood. People tried to scare me (especially coming from a private religious school) that high school would be terrible and scary. Well it was not 1/4 as bad as they made it out to be. You'll find people... trust me. You're a smart person, you'll be fine. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
