I put my back out today at the yard while i was mucking out. A couple of hours after i finished work my b/f got his mate to give me a lift to casualty and they had to put me in a wheelchair cos i couldn't even walk.

I couldn't even stand, sit ,bend over or move!
Anyway they said it had went onto spasam.

THey gave me tablets which hac
ve eased the spasambut i forgot i am allergic to them [Eek!] and they had me take one in the hospial before i was discharged.

I now have all the bad side effects [Frown]
The sweat is lashing off me and i have a temperature. I feel nauseous and i keep wretching, i have pins and needles in my hands and i feel faint.

i just have to wait for the efects to wear off nad i feel miserable!

[Bawling] i need a hugg! [Bawling]

Oh Babs!!! That is awful! [Frown] I hope you are not alone!! Perhaps you should be seeing a doctor about those side effects.

Lady, get yourself to the Chiropractor. Luna Chiro, I believe it's called. That is the type that does NOT twist and crack your spine. It's a gentle manipulation. I go to one on a regular basis. It's the only thing that keeps me out of a wheelchair.

MY b/f is going to get the number of his brothers chiro.
He treats a lot of motorbike racers.

I am alone, i have to work at the stables in the morning.
I rang the hospital they just said to not take anymore tablets and i should feel less ill by the morning.

I will deffinitely make sure i don't take voltarol again!

You poor thing [Frown] If the side effects do not seem to be lessening, you should call for someone to take you back to the hospital - or call 911 (is it 999 for you there?) the emergency line. Call in sick for a few days my dear!!

Well, guess it is easier to clean up in the cat box, though the cat probably isn't appreciating the invasion of their "turf".

Sorry, trying to make you laugh.

Definitly call the doc. They CAN give you drugs to counter the effects.

Oh Babs

Voltril side effects are horrible, I had them for a pain from a tooth abcess.NEVER AGAIN [Frown]

If you can't get to hospital, call a paramedic, get them to check you out.

Then sleep it off, it should of worn off by morning.

I take Kapake, but they can still make you feel woosy, but are just paracetamol with quite a high dose of codeine, very good for joint pain.(script only, not over counter)

SEEK SOME MED ADVISE - Ring NHS helpline, don't take chances.

Get checked, sleep off.

Ohh and you can't work on a bad back, god knows what damage you will do [Eek!]

Thinking of you

Love
Jane [Cute Kiss]

NHS health cuts! THey told me i just had to wait for the effects to wear off.

AT the minute i feel like a cross between having a really bad hangover (Its been years from i had one) and a bad concussion.

Don't take anything else internally, get to see that Chriropractor asap.

Chris had all hospital tests, for 10 YEARS, even the camera up you know where. Couldn't find anything wrong.

Pain was so bad in his back, I was putting his socks on.

He went to see a Chiro last year, x rayd standing up - slipped disc, put him right over a few weeks, been well since.

Glad it is wearing off, horrible feeling. I just changed my meds a few months back, for 5 days just lay on settee, feeling sick and headache till the side effect wore off, still makes me feel sick now and then, but nothing like it did.

Get some more sleep when done at yard, listen to mom LOL

Jane - off to do Pic now

Oh Poor Babs! I hope you're feeling better. [Cute Kiss] BTDT w/spasms, ow! A good chiropractor should definitely help. I use to have trouble straightening up after picking feet, then went to a chiro after a car wreck and got much improved. I have also had "sound shots " to my neck, intense bursts of high frequency sound to one point. Sounds (no pun intended) like quackery I'm sure, but there was an audible effect in the muscles of my neck- silence. Or as said to the doc "It's like having your skull bearings greased." [Big Grin]
Trying to think what might make your stomach feel better...milk, CocaCola, tea.
I can only imagine the look from the cat when it found out you hacked into its litter box. [Razz] Take care. Feel better. [Cute Kiss]

Thanks again.
I still feel sick but not as sick.

I went round to my b/f brothers to ask him for the number of the chiropracter and went to show him where i hurt and nearly put it out again!

ITs just a twinge at the moment like i usually get - nothing like yesterday.

I am going to phone my doctor in the morning but its usually a week or two before you get an appointment.
When i get the number for the chiropracter i'll phone them too.
HE 'popped' Tonys back but he said it didn't hurt.
WHen i get the number i will ask if he does the non popping sort.
Apparantly if he doesn't think he can fix you if won't touch you. HE seen one of Tonys friends and told him he would have to go to the hospital instead.

I am going to be very carefull at work tomorrow and do everthing really slowly.

I can't face anything heavy to eat and i've told my b/f not to eat his dinner near me or i'll be sick!
