Vicky, I don't think it's revealing, but I'm Pap's one and only little girl, and he's OVER PROTECTIVE... has been all my life and I think my being homschooled for nearly 8 years made it worse!!!!
I woulda luved to see that dress, got any pics?

I looked at some of them, I'll look at more soon... So far nothing I can wear, has to have straps, because strapless tend to fall of me unless I get them so small I can't breathe!

I like the blue one (nice color), but for me, I could never fit into that cut. I like Princess seamed gown (or fit-n-flare) with cap sleeves of off-the-shoulder. Southern Belle stuff... . What is your body build like, I don't remember seeing any pics of you and what size do you wear? For fabrics, I don't like anything heavy, chiffon, satin, silk, all nice but not tight fitting. I couldn't stand those poofy dresses, lol. Reminds me of human bells, just want to shake them to see if they will ring, lol.

1981- I know what you mean about Southern Belle stuff but I can't find anything that looks pretty enough for me in that style....
Umm.. I wear between an 8-10 depending on the cut/style of the dress, and I love the poofy ones, it's just all of them are mostly strapless and Pap would KILL ME!

I bought a gorgeous gunmetal gray dress (it has a white underskirt with with the sheer overskirt) that I just love to death from this place called Estelle's in NY. It was only $35. It has the corset-like top with spaghetti straps. Anyway, have you looked at any of the discount dress places or even on Ebay, there are always gorgeous dresses on Ebay. (I can't help it, I am a shopaholic, lol)
The boofy ones do tend to be strapless. I am sure you will look gorgeous in whatever you choose.

I'm still looking, Mam is taking me to Dillards at the mall to look, that's where I got my AWESOME homecoming dress!!!
