We just picked up my sister's new dog. She's a Lab/German Sheperd and is 6 years old, she's VERY well trained and a real sweetheart! My sister's wanted a dog forever so she's pretty happy!
Next it's my turn for a horse

She's so cute! And she's soooooo smart it's creepy!! We've never had a well trained dog maybe I add here.
She comes EVERY time you call her if you're walking and she's not on a leash and she's too far ahead you say WAIT and she does! It's so cool! She just stays by your side I can't believe it. We used to have a German SHepherd and he was pretty good he always protected us (we had him when we were younger) but then he bit someone so he had to get rid of him Then we got a Dalmation/Lab and she ALWAYS ran away so we'd run down the road after her. We had a Rotty/lab when we had the other one and he was really good, he was my puppy, he followed me everywhere and we were best friends until we got rid of his friend then he started running away.
But this dog is so neat, except my sister is going through a little jealous phase (I thought I was supposed to be the jealous one.. she has a dog I don't?!) Everytime I even TOUCH her dog she'll go Missy come and then the dog will leave. And if Missy comes to me just to follow me around while I do my chores my sister gets mad and calls Missy again. I was even brushing her last night and my sister took the brush from me. Oh well when I get my new horse she's not touching it.. (that doesn't work though she doesn't like horses anyway). Oh well.

Yeah, once german shepherds are trained, they are one of the friendliest breeds!!
