Well I don't have pink eye afterall. I was told it would clear up in 24-48 hrs. I developed a lump on the side of my face. Went to the docv and I have some sort of Mandibular tumor or Cyst. It is between my maxillary and opthalmic nerve. It is effevting my eye and my jaw. I can hardly eat. All this in less than a weeks time. I am going to see the surgeon on Monday. I don't know yet exactly what is going on but I TOTALLY scared. Sorry to rant on. Just wanted to tell someone with out totally going into hysterics.

That is scary. But usually these things aren't as bad as you anticipate them to be, so try not to worry too much...

Cyn,

Sorry to hear about your troubles. All you can do is get it checked out and follow your doctors advice. Most tumors and cysts are benign and just have to be removed. Glad we can be your sounding board. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Omg Cyn that is horrible. Is a good thing you went to the doctors and didn't just ignore it. I wish you the best of luck with it and I hope you get well very soon!

Don't worry so much hun! My stepfather had something very very similar and had surgery to remove the tumor last year. The roots were WAY up into his head (scary) The doc said it's actually quite normal, and rarely, if ever, are there lasting effects.

Just take care of yourself, listen to your doc, and get it removed as soon as you can. I'm praying for you! [Cute Kiss]

Hmmm...I'll see if I can find some info - I have so many books that at least one of them should have something! I know that tomorrow will seem LONG for you...I've been in this type of situation before. (And it always turned out to be no big deal, BTW, so try not to worry!)
