ok, i ride my horse on a loose rien he has a full cheek snaffle by the way , and i can do w/t/c with a loose rien and his head carriage is best kind and soon as i collect he puts his head up i was thinking i should get a rubber dee ring
does any1 have any suggestions

The bit isn't the problem. Has the horse been trained to work on the bit? Do you know how to ride a horse into the bit? If you don't know, then you may need to work with a knowledgable trainer.

a rubber won't solve anything. and technically, you aren't supposed to show with a rubber bit. They are great for starting a horse out so they don't get bit sour, but you need to stick with a metal one if you are already riding.

Some horses, when they go "on the bit" will pull their head a bit higher for comfort. If it is still "legal" then leave it alone. The more natural, the better.

Are you riding english or western for this issue? I'm assuming english since western you don't go "on" the bit.
