Can someone post some pics and discriptions on some head setting devices for the wesern horse. i use side reins a a curcingle when lounging but i want something for riding...but it has to be western. THANKS!!!!

Here is a link to a few different training forks. They encourage the horse to keep his head down, not just vertical. I have used them before, but I don't really like them that much. They made my horse more heavy on the forehand, and training the horse with no training devices and just cues has worked better for me. Hope you find something that works for you and your horse [Smile]

thanks....but i guess what i dont get is does it hook up to the girth and do you have to have a breast collar on to use it???? Im talking about the fork on the feeds through the reins.

Yes, it hooks to the girth between the legs. I guess there is a choice as to what D ring you attach it to depending on what you want their headset to be at. And no, I don't think you need a breast collar [Smile]
