Sorry for so many boring question sabout leg wraps I'm just trying to learn the difference between the large variety of them.
I was at a horse/tack sale today (auction) and bought myself a new set of polo wraps (4) for $20 CAD. Also, I bought a package of "Turf Knits" because they were going at $10 CAD. All completely brand new!
This is what the knits say: This is a stretchable cold water track bandages of a special material that resists mildew, yet has great ability to absorb water. It will not fray or dry rot. The fabric streches in both directions which eliminates binding, and is made of a very tight knit, thus insuring longevity. It will not lose its elasticity or color after washing. The knits are fastened with velcro closures.
Anyways.. they sound like a brace bandage to me, so do you think they would be okay for support over jumps? I currently use polo wraps, but wondered if these might have better support. (I have had proper training in putting leg wraps on, just don't know the difference between them )
Thanks.

We use them as galloping bandages when we're breezing. I don't see why you couldn't use them for jumping, but just be careful not to put them on too tightly I don't know if they're as breathable as polo wraps though, we don't leave them on for very long.

Thanks! I'd imagine for jumping it would be best to use them with cottons, do you think? What does everyone else think?
