its you..your balence is off...and your leg is weak...how long have you been riding?!? if its been a while...try some no stirupp work...or just PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!

When I first started out way back in the day we had to do tonnes of no stirrup work. My coach would have me cross the stirrups across my horses neck so they don't swing around and hit the horse, and practise our rising and sitting trot without them. It really helps you improve your balance and leg strength. Don't be discouraged, just keep practicing!

If you're falling off a lot, ride bareback some. On days when you dont have a ton of time, just slip on a bridle and hop on. It's really good for your balance.
